The Ho Ho Ho awards are conferred annually (around Christmas) to the person or persons whose actions in the previous year have best demonstrated a willingness to completely prostitute themselves – or pimp out someone else – during the previous year.
2007 Award:
1. Mainstream Media – but then they’ve won it every year for the last decade. Examples are too numerous to list. Expect this category to make a strong run for the 2008 award too.
2. Runner up: Nancy Pelosi, meeting with head of the terrorist state of Syria. (against the will of the president of the free world and the advice of the State Department – but her San Francisco constituents gave her high-fives)

Nancy, not only have we done away with slavery in this country, but we no longer consider women dirty, unworthy chattel. Additionally, the hijab is no longer required during normal business hours. But hey, if you want to get your freak on, go ahead.
Honorable mention went to Imus, for his nauseating suck-up to Al Sharpton for a tasteless remark that in the grand scheme of things was fairly innocuous. The Rutger’s women’s basketball team could have done everyone a favor by sacrificing the 15 minutes of victimhood-fame in favor of the mature behavior of ignoring boorishness. Alternately we would have welcomed an immature, but wiser, reaction of a team cheer: “I’m rubber, you’re glue. Everything you say bounces off me and sticks on you. Nah nah na nah nah!”
